It’s that time of year again! The 2022 NFL season is getting closer and I couldn’t be more excited. It feels like just yesterday I was watching the Super Bowl champions being crowned and getting ready for the draft. Now, the anticipation of the first kick off of the new season is building.
This year is going to be one of the most anticipated NFL season in a while. With big changes in the teams and in the league, it’s going to be an exciting year! It will also be the first season for a lot of new players who have high expectations and even higher goals.
So, when does the season actually start? Well, the first game of the NFL 2022 season is scheduled to be held on Thursday, September 9. That means it will be eight months of waiting until we can watch epic matchups and cheer our favorite teams on.
It will also be the first NFL season in quite some time without the iconic Tom Brady. After two decades of being one of the most recognizable names in the league, it’s exciting to see the new talent that will have the spotlight this upcoming season.
I am also looking forward to seeing how the new technology in the league will affect the game. From the Fancy New Stadiums, to the real-time player tracking technology and advanced instant replays, I can’t imagine how much more exciting the game will be to watch!
I’m sure it’s going to be a wild ride, and how many nfl quarterbacks have 2 superbowl rings I can you wear 0 in the nfl‘t wait until we get to see what all the hype is about. I am looking forward to the surprise teams that will make the playoffs and to see who will make it all the way to be crowned the champion.
I’m especially excited to watch some of the new faces that will make an impact on the field and in the locker room. It’s always enjoyable to watch rookies get their start and mature into great players. We might even get to see a few new records set this season!
There is so much to look forward to in the new NFL season, and I can’t wait for the first kickoff. The excitement is palpable, and I’m sure it will be one of the most memorable seasons in history!
