I’ll never forget my first trip to the NFL store when I was a kid. It was a hyperbolic experience, let me tell you! The smell of those new pencils, the bright and colorful NFL logos, all of it just made me go wild. I remember grabbing a handful of pencils with my favorite teams’ logos and feeling like the luckiest kid in the world. I would start scribbling as soon as I got back to my room and couldn’t stop until my mom had to take them away.

They were a bit faded from use but who cares, they were still awesome! I feel so nostalgic when I see these pencils – it’s like a little piece of history that I have the privilege of owning.
Plus, those vintage NFL pencils always get a lot of attention. Everyone is always surprised to see them and want to hear stories about them. I feel so proud to show them off, and to share how I got them – it’s like a little token of my childhood that I get to homage.
