To me, 700 hr is one of baseball’s most sacred accomplishments. It’s a benchmark that separates the good and great players. Entering the 700 hr club means you have accomplished a level of excellence that has been attained by less than a handful of people in the entire history of the game. That’s why I was so curious to know how long are mlb ganes many MLB players have achieved this incredible feat.
After doing some research, I discovered that only five players in MLB history have hit over 700 hr – Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Alex Rodriguez, and Albert Pujols. That’s an impressive list!
I got so excited about the monumental accomplishments of these few legendary players that I joked that they should make their own exclusive club – call it the “700 hr All-Stars”! I guess that wouldn’t be such a bad idea, if you ask me.
Through the accomplishment of 700 hr, Bonds, Aaron, Ruth, Rodriguez, and Pujols have created a legacy that will live on long after they have left the game. That’s not to say that there won’t be other MLB players that will join this exclusive club in the future, but it will be a hard feat to replicate.
Having an understanding of the amazing feats of these five legends made me wonder who will be the next player to join this elite list. Will it be Mike Trout, or maybe younger players like Cody Bellinger or Ronald Acuña Jr. Niether myself, nor anyone else, can accurately predict the future. But what we can do is recognize the talents of these amazing players and hope that one day soon we will see a new member join the 700 hr MLB Club.
For anyone who doesn’t know or appreciate the significance of 700 hr being achieved in professional baseball, it’s hard to express what an incredible honor it is. Entering the 700 hr hall of fame requires a lifetime of hard work, determination, and pure passion for the game. When you think of it like that, it’s no wonder why so few have achieved it.
It’s exciting to think that, despite the small list of players that currently hold this record, there is a chance that we could see more join the ranks in the near future. Players like Trout, Bellinger, Acuña, and even international players like Yurkis Reyes and Alberto Callapso could possibly join the 700 hr club. The possibilities are truly endless.
It’s amazing to imagine that a group of seven or eight players could join this exclusive club if the right conditions present themselves in the next few years. It won’t be easy, but I’m sure that our favorite players will rise to the challenge. We will just need to wait and see how it all plays out as time passes.
I think it’s going to be fascinating to watch the race for 700 hr as the years go by. Who will be the next player to join? Will it be someone from the ketel marte mlb the show 23 we all know and love, or will it be a new young up-and-coming star? We will just have to stick around and find out.
