I suppose it does come down to the player and the cheerleader making sure that things are understood. I mean, they don’t have to marry each other in the end but there has to be respect for the other’s career and aspirations. That’s the only way a relationship can last between a player and a cheerleader. As for whether or not the relationship will end in marriage or not, that’s completely up to the couple.
